Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and the operator of PDF Edit ("we"), reachable at support@andz.ee, for the use of PDF Edit at https://pdf.andz.ee (the "service"). By using the service you accept them.
The service
PDF Edit is a PDF editor that runs in your web browser. Your documents are processed on your device; AI features send the content they need to Google's Gemini API, as described in the privacy policy. AI output can be wrong, so review changes before you rely on them. You are responsible for keeping copies of your documents; export your work to save it.
Accounts
You need an account to use the editor. New accounts get a free trial of 24 hours with limited AI requests and downloads. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Pro subscription
- Pro is billed in advance, monthly or yearly, and renews automatically until cancelled. It is sold through our reseller and merchant of record, Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which processes the payment, issues the receipt, and handles sales tax and VAT; its buyer terms apply to the purchase.
- You can cancel at any time from your account page; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Pro includes fair-use limits on AI requests (currently 300 a day) to keep the service fast for everyone.
- We may change prices for future periods; we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before a change affects your renewal.
- Right of withdrawal (EU consumers): you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase. By starting to use Pro features immediately, you ask us to begin providing the service during that period; if you withdraw, we refund the price minus the part for the days you had Pro. Email us to withdraw.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law or infringe others' rights, and don't attempt to disrupt it, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or get around plan limits.
Your content
Your documents remain yours. Since we never receive them, we claim no rights in them.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available and correct, but it is provided "as is". We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue Pro, we refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the EU's online dispute resolution platform.
